In a shift toward fostering civilizational innovation, Musk encouraged entrepreneurs to explore sectors that are still untapped, such as tunnel construction for transportation and synthetic medicines supported by RNA technologies. "I encourage others to create tunnel companies," he said, emphasizing that there are many opportunities in this sector and that building tunnels is a challenging task but offers a broad margin for technological disruption.
Furthermore, Musk shared his vision of legacy, saying his goal is to develop technologies to extend life beyond Earth. When asked about his entrepreneurial role models, he mentioned Nikola Tesla and Jensen Huang, founder of Nvidia, as his main inspirations.
On another front, SpaceX is expected to file for the largest IPO in history next Wednesday, aiming to raise up to 75 billion dollars with a valuation exceeding 2 trillion dollars. The offering will include space operations, satellite services, and the AI startup xAI, acquired by SpaceX in February. Musk declined to comment on this event.
In a separate matter, Musk faced the dismissal of his $150 billion lawsuit against OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman, due to delays in filing the complaint. Musk accused responsible parties at OpenAI of transforming a nonprofit organization he financed into a for-profit company, which he claims undermines philanthropy in the US. He also warned that this sets a dangerous precedent.
